With two bank holidays and the potential to step out into the sunshine, without an umbrella close to hand - we are welcoming May with open arms.
The question is, how will you spend your May? Make sure you don’t miss the Urban Village Fete at Greenwich Peninsula on Sunday 21 May. This bold celebration of local music, art, design and craftsmanship will be full to bursting with events, talks, pops-ups and, of course, lovely food. Last year attracted 25,000 visitors; and this year looks to be bigger and better, so head on down and enjoy everything the Peninsula has to offer.
One thing London isn’t short of is green space - in fact it’s one of world’s greenest capitals, and the Royal Borough of Greenwich is home to a whopping 50 green spaces. Now summer is on its way, we discover some old favourites and new places where you can relax and enjoy the sun on page 19.
