Another winter season has melted away, allowing for wildlife to venture out of their winter resting places, lush fields of wildflowers to bloom, and providing us with added hours of daylight for adventure. We have our camping gear, hiking boots, and mountain bikes ready for the many hours we will spend exploring and enjoying some of the most beautiful terrain in the lower 48. Wednesday evenings will be filled with fresh produce, local artisans, and socializing at the Farmer’s Market while Thursday nights will be spent enjoying free Music in the Mountains concerts at Center Stage Park. It may be our busiest season but we can guarantee we’ll enjoy every moment of it. Big Sky has continued to grow and local events have taken heed. The Big Sky PBR is once again coming to Town Center and has expanded their festivities to four days. The Vine and Dine Festival held at Big Sky Resort has also added additional days of wining, dining, and seminars as well as an introductory Sommelier class; something you don’t see every day in the Big Sky State. Not to be outdone by the many local events, Yellowstone National Park is just an hour’s drive to our south where one can spend a day (or many) exploring geothermal features, wildlife, and the endless beauty of the Nation’s oldest national park. A list of local events may be found on page 2.
