The Green Jacket FINAL ISSUE Volume 1, Issue 6 December 6th, 2013

This Weekend: Tis the Season, Drink for a Reason Bar Crawl 7pm-2am December 6th, 2013

Out With the Old, In With The New Well Ambassadors, it's been a great run. Very shortly our Seniors will be on to bigger and better things in life and even though Jacob, Sarah, and Nathan have done a great job this year as our E-Board, the reigns must be passed along. To the new President and Vice President, we know you will do an excellent job by continuing the tradition of what it means to be both a model ambassador and to lead a truly amazing group of ambassadors. We know that you will pick the best people to represent each committee to continue to shape and educate our organization. Just remember that in your time in power make sure that everyone HAS FUN! We all wish you the best of luck! And with that, we now give you your new President and Vice President! CONGRATULATIONS NATHAN MEAD AND KELLY HESS!

The Green Jacket A Word From The E-Board . . . Looking back on the past year, it is fascinating to see how far Mercyhurst University and the Ambassadors have come. We have transitioned to a brand new calendar system; we’ve become full-fledged members of the Admissions staff; we’ve introduced the new Greeting system. All of these changes have posed significant challenges to organizational fabric of our group, and each and every one of the Ambassadors rose to that challenge. The Pledge and Mentor committees have seamlessly condensed the pledge process into 14 weeks, the Social committee has organized numerous social events to give us all time to relax during the new rigorous term system, and PR committee has continued to produce an informative and entertaining newsletter, now in a more digestible and easier to read form. We are all proud to be a part of an organization that has such dedicated, hard working, and creative members. This is not only the end of our time as the Executive Board, but it is the end of our journey as Ambassadors. We can’t believe that it was over three years ago that we were pledging. Thank you to the entire senior class for being one of the best groups of Ambassadors we have ever had, for helping us, and most importantly for becoming some of our best friends that we will have for the rest of our lives. We would all not be where we are now without the support we have all provided for one another over our years as Mercyhurst Ambassadors. Now that we are almost done, we pass the reigns to Nathan Mead and Kelly Hess and to the new generation of Ambassadors and we have full faith in their leadership as Mercyhurst and Ambassadors continues to adapt and change. Carpe Diem! Jacob Griffin, Sarah Piasecki, and Nathan Klembara
