Check if the magnet base is on and accordingly fixed, pushing the Pilot Pin. If the rotation is too weak or too strong, adjust the rotation of the drill. When the Merax CTYP-28A Magnetic Drill is not in use, keep it clean and remove all accessories from it. Safety in my magnetic base: The energization of the Merax CTYP-28A Magnetic Drill depends on the thickness of the material you are working with. A thickness of 12 mm is excellent to guarantee a safe operation. Keep all work place clean, since magnet base is damaged by chips and dirt, both as to its energization and lifecycle of the base. Before drilling, make sure the magnet base is firmly attached to the workpiece. If necessary, use the current for a safer fixation. Adjusting and Regulating the Drill: Periodically, inspect your Merax CTYP-28A Magnetic Drill. Check lubrication, tools sharpening, carbon brush, cleaning and all accessories of the machine. Use wrenches to unfasten nuts. Always remember to fasten them securely, and whenever the rack-and-pinion move, check its fastening to guarantee quality and safety during work.
