Flintshire County Council’s Community Services Directorate and partners would like to wish all the people of Flintshire a Happy St David’s Day. We are proud to be a part of this event celebrating our national patron saint. We are fully supportive of the Welsh Government’s vision to see the Welsh language thriving in Wales. We recognise that supporting people to communicate through the medium of Welsh, if this is their chosen language, is an essential component of social care. Saint David, famously said: “Gwnewch y pethau bychain.” “Do the little things.” Today we would like to take this opportunity to say a very special thank you to some of the local businesses and organisations who have done ‘Big Things’ to support this event: • The Village Bakery, Coedpoeth • Spavens Sweet Shop • Meet ‘n’ Eat Cafe • The Daniel Owen Centre • Llys Jasmine Extra Care Scheme • Mold Library • Clwyd Theatr Cymru

Mae Cyfarwyddiaeth Gwasanaethau Cymunedol Sir y Fflint a’u partneriaid yn dymuno Dydd Gwˆ yl Dewi Hapus i bawb o bobl Sir y Fflint. Rydym yn teimlo’n falch ac yn freintiedig o fod yn rhan o’r digwyddiad hwn i ddathlu dydd ein nawddsant cenedlaethol. Rydym yn cefnogi’n llawn gweledigaeth y Cynulliad i weld yr iaith Gymraeg yn ffynnu yng Nghymru. Rydym yn cydnabod bod cynnal pobol i gyfathrebu trwy gyfrwn yr iaith Gymraeg, os mae Cymraeg yw ei hiaith ddewisedig, yn gydran hanfodol o ofal cymdeithasol. Fel y dywedodd Dewi Sant “Gwnewch y pethau bychain”. A heddiw hoffem cymrid y cyfle yma i ddweud diolch arbennig i rai o’n busnesau a sefydliadau lleol sydd wedi gwneud ‘Pethau Mawr’ i gefnogi’r digwyddiad yma: • The Village Bakery, Coedpoeth • Spavens Sweet Shop • Caffi Meet ‘n’ Eat • Canolfan Daniel Owen • Cynllun Gofal Ychwanegol Llys Jasmine • Llyfrgell ac Amgueddfa’r Wyddgrug • Clwyd Theatr Cymru
