Music In Missions VBS Is Here!!!! TODAY: If you have volunteered to help out with this week's camp, please stick around for lunch after the 10:45am service to help decorate the church and your classrooms and get final details about this upcoming week! FRIDAY CONCERT: Be sure to invite a friend to Friday's concert! The African Children's Choir will be performing at 6pm, featuring the Music in Mission Campers! It's going to be an uplifting worship experience, truly praising the Lord with shouts of joy with all the nations! CAMP THIS WEEK: The African Children's Choir arrives TODAY and will be leading our summer VBS Music camp. They depart Saturday morning. Please be praying for the volunteers helping make this camp possible, as well as the students in the choir and the students coming to participate. We anticipate over 150 children ages 3 through 5th grade experiencing the love of Christ this week in Katy! Amen!

Summer Fun & Fellowship, June 18th Beat the heat at our Splash Pad Night from 6-8:00 pm. Meet at the corner of Springbend Lane and Avon Oak Lane (south of Highland Knolls Dr. and Westgreen Blvd.) for devotion and some cool times!

Summer Fun & Fellowship Continues! This week we’ll roll with the fun at the Mason Road Skate Center, 535 Applewhite Drive in Katy (281.392.9555). The Tuesday Special is a $2 skate rental and snacks are $2. Rollerblades and walkers are $3.

The Houston Lutheran Chorale’s annual 4th of July concert entitled “An American Portrait” will feature one of Aaron Copland’s major orchestral works, “Lincoln Portrait,” in addition to many beautiful choral selections including music of Irvin Berlin, “Zion’s Walls”, “Simple Gifts”, a Civil War Medley of Songs, “Battle Hymn of the Republic”, and songs for your participation. The concert will include a surprise piece for the enjoyment of all. After the concert the Chorale will be providing a chance for food and fellowship downstairs in the gymnasium. There will be hot dogs, Frito pie, chips, desserts and drinks available. A free will offering will be taken to help defray the cost of the food. You are welcomed to stay and watch the spectacular downtown fireworks display from the church parking lot. The concert will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church-Downtown, 800 Houston Avenue, at 6:00 PM on July 4, 2013.
