Ocean Prison: Anti-Pyramid AC-CA COMPETITION
Observation and Control Jeremy Bantham’s panopticon is the quintessential surveillance system. The sense of being constantly under observation from a single focal point is both effective and optimized. This principle was the basis of the prison project. Through the sectioning of Bantham’s design into its purest form. Thereafter, by rotating the pyramid 180 degrees the observer is able to constantly see without being seen. The glass floor under the prisoners allows for a constant visual contact in every angle from the interior of the station.
