PORTFOLIO MELISA ELIF ELME architect
Hi I am Melisa! I graduated from Architecture and Design Faculty at Maltepe University as a Department First and I am looking for a place to work to deepen and improve my knowledge of architecture. What I find fascinating about architecture is that it never has an interest in just designing or just building, but directly affects human and human psychology. I’ve done a lot of work in order to understand the nature of architecture, which has the power to merge things together and makes it by influencing people’s entire mood. I want to continue working, producing and designing in this direction. It is my greatest purpose to be able to add a color into this world that is gray.

SMART and NATURAL
URBAN DESIGN PROJECT / BEYKOZ
It was very important to understand this part of the city, which is located on the coast of Beykoz, which allows us to experience the Bosphorus completely. Beykoz’s user profile was crucial in determining the function of the project to be done here. In the first serious project worked on an urban scale, the aim was to design a part of the city to proper and work together with the whole piece. In the light of this, part of the city and a suitable coast were designed. No resolution drawings were made on the detail scales. The new area created on the shore aims to experience the sea more closely. Accordingly, concrete slabs stretched over the sea aimed at providing different space experiences to the user. The texture of the spaces has been diversified with different material choices.
