2. How To Use This Guide

T

here is a lot of material and information in this guide and on the MelioGuide.com web site developed specifically to help you improve your bone health. The challenge with presenting so much information is to deliver it in a way that the reader does not get lost. To avoid that unfortunate situation, this chapter has been designed to help you navigate through the information and get you started on your exercise program. Read this chapter carefully. I will cover the following topics: »» The contents of each chapter in this guide. »» How to locate important resources (such as your Exercise Schedule). »» How and where you can determine your Exercise Level. Remember that with MelioGuide you have a number of resources to assist you with your bone building program. First, you have this printed guide in your hands. Second, you have an online subscription to my exercise programs. The online portion not only describes the exercise programs in text and still photo format (similar to the printed guide), it also provides online videos demonstrating and explaining a number of the exercises. Third, there is an online directory, on MelioGuide.com, of health care professionals who have completed the MelioGuide training (you will find the Find a Professional directory under Products and Services). Fourth, you will find a number of online video tutorials on bone health in your account. I am sure that you are eager to start your exercise program right away. I applaud you for your enthusiasm!
