FREO StreetWise invited Notre Dame University to send in a selection of images by students in its photojournalism program. Thanks to Drs Mignon Shardlow and Talhy Stotzer for these images, including the cover shot. The photography units at Notre Dame introduce students to the power of a great image and how to capture one. “Students at Notre Dame learn to produce compelling images that best represent the human condition,” Dr Shardlow told StreetWise. “They learn to identify and research a visual story and to value timeliness, objectivity and narrative. “And they have fun as well.”
