Hosting your own brewmaster’s dinner is a great way to bring together fine flavors and a well-crafted meal. Our Brewmaster’s Summer Sampler pack includes three brews to pair with the perfect occasion. With four bottles each of Blue Moon® Belgian White Belgian-Style Wheat Ale, Pale Moon®, and Honey Moon® Summer Ale, you can serve four people a finely paired meal.
Honey Moon® is a refreshing summer ale with Colorado clover honey balanced with orange zest. TM
It captures the flavor of the season with a natural touch of summer that finishes with a crisp, citrus flavor.
B BELGIAN ELGIAN W WHITE HITE
BELGIAN-STYLE WHEAT ALE
Salads: Fresh Lettuce and Tomato. The citrus and honey flavors in Honey Moon complement fresh salads. Any dressing with spicy undertones, such as honey Dijon, is an excellent option.
The flavor starts out crisp and tangy and ends creamy, finishing slowly with a residual coriander and orange spiciness, which is brought out even further with a slice of orange.
Seafood: Grilled Shrimp and Fried Calamari. The light, fruity orange flavors complement any seafood dish that’s cooked with citrus or one that comes with a lemon wedge. Chicken: Chicken Cacciatore and Chicken Almondine. The balanced, complex character won’t compete with the delicate flavors in a good chicken dish. Pork: Pork Tenderloin or Pork Chops. The coriander accents the spicy mustard and vinegar marinades used in many pork dishes. Asian: Pad Thai, Curry Chicken, or Kung Pao Chicken. Asian dishes are famous for their lime, lemon, orange, and spicy curry or chili flavors. The orange zest in Blue Moon Belgian White* pairs well with citrus dinners; the coriander really helps bring out the flavor in spicy dishes.
Pale Moon is a Belgian-style pale ale, which means it is brewed to produce an inviting hop aroma without the overpowering hop taste that defines American pale ales. Pale Moon is crafted with Cascade hops, European malts, and a touch of orange peel and hibiscus—all perfectly balanced in a rich, copper-colored ale. The orange peel and hibiscus provide a unique twist and help balance the hops for a smooth finish.
Pork: Ham, Pork Chops, and Pork Loin. The honey and orange spice of Honey Moon pairs well with the flavor of pork. Try it with honey-baked ham or pork dishes with honey-mustard sauces. Seafood: Shrimp and Calamari. The wheat in Honey Moon refreshes the palate and won’t overwhelm the subtle flavors of seafood dishes. Plus, the citrus finish accentuates the lemon flavors used to garnish many seafood recipes. Desserts: Chocolate, Fruit, and Ice Cream. Milk-chocolate desserts balance Honey Moon without being too bold. The citrus honey notes pair well with fruit dishes like fruit salads. Mild-flavored ice creams such as French vanilla or sorbets are also great options.
We recommend a well-rounded four-course meal to showcase a host of flavors and delight all the senses. Here’s a sample menu. Hors d’Oeuvres

Grilled shrimp with crispy tortillas and avocado salsa -Paired with Blue Moon® Belgian White Belgian-Style Wheat Ale
Pale Moon will pair well with appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Appetizers Pale Moon complements salads with bitter components such as arugula lettuce or almond toppings. These dishes bring out the nutty/caramel undertones of the pale ale. Entrees Pale Moon stands up to any hearty dish, such as beef that is either grilled or marinated, seafood that is strong in taste or is heavily seasoned/spiced, and other entrees like jambalaya. Dessert The slight bitterness and caramel notes of Pale Moon go nicely with dark chocolate or caramel.
