History + Arts Sponsorships

SUPPORT LOCAL ARTISTS AND THE BROOKLYN COLLECTIVE HISTORY. • Quarterly Art Gallery Exhibits that promote established local artists. Includes full operating costs of the exhibit including curation, installation, sponsor premier, marketing, exhibit specific narrative and signage, event staffing, etc. $20,000 per quarterly Exhibit • Artist-in-residence studio Support a local artist by sponsoring a Brooklyn Collective space allowing them to focus on their craft, create and display local art and showcase their talent. $10,000 annually • Maker/Creator in-residence studio Support a local maker/creator by sponsoring a Brooklyn Collective space allowing them to focus on their craft, create and innovate while showcasing their talent. $10,000 annually • Historic Installations Cost determined on case-by-base basis. These could be in the Grace AME Zion Church or in the MIC building.

Community + Impact Sponsorships SUPPORT OUTREACH AND ENGAGEMENT THROUGH THOUGHTFUL PROGRAMMING AND RESEARCH. • Programming Curriculum Brooklyn Collective curated and presented programming Initial programming includes mindset, tough conversations, history of Brooklyn neighborhood and its relevance today. $3,000 per topic • Community Engagement Support Brooklyn Collective activities associated with community engagement. Priced on a case-by-case basis.

• Storytelling Sponsorship: Funding of research, filming of storytelling, commissioned history centric art pieces. Cost determined on case-by-case basis.

Place + Purpose Sponsorships

SUPPORT COLLISIONS OF IDEAS AND COLLABORATION BY SPONSORING SPACES. • Meeting spaces Support spaces at Grace, Studio 229, and the Gallery to promote non-profit entities in the inclusivity space $6,000 annually • Conference Room A designated place to collaborate, connect and build. Accessible to Charlotte organizations in the inclusivity and upward mobility space. $6,000 annually • Podcast Studio Provide Charlotte people/organizations access to a high-caliber media outlet. $6,000 annually • Incubator Space Provide space for a sponsored Brooklyn Collective Entrepreneur or Non-Profit. $6,000 annually

I n t h e Jan uar y 1, 1887 issue of th e Charlotte M e s s e n ge r, S mith wrote “ T h e buildin g of a n ew ch u rch is e s s e n tial to rid youth of fog ey ideas, s e n t im e n t s , e tc ., an d brin g th em up to proper m oral s e n t im e n t s an d re lig ious beliefs” T h e Me s s e n ge r continued publication until at least 1 891
