NuWay Weiners An iconic Macon restaurant featuring the famous red hot dog. In 1916, Greek American James Mallis opened a hot dog stand in Macon named “Nu-Way Weiners.”Established the same year as Nathan’s Famous hot dog stand in New York City, Nu-Way is one of the oldest hot dog restaurants in the United States.
