Mona Paparu egyedül neveli hároméves kislányát. Egy külföldi utazás miatt a gyermeket a nagynénjénél hagyja. A nagynénitõl a gyámhatóság elveszi a kislányt. Amikor Mona visszatér, a gyámhatóságon el kell mondania, mivel töltötte külföldön az idejét. A film Mona Paparu beszámolója: utazásainak, szerelmének, nyugat-európai kálváriájának a története. Mona Paparu is raising her three-year-old daughter alone. Because of a trip abroad she has to leave the child with her aunt. The Child Protection Agency takes the little girl away from the aunt. When Mona returns home she has to explain to the CPA what she has done abroad. The film tells the story of her travels, her love and the story of her life in Western Europe... as recounted by Mona Paparu.

Daniel kivételes focicsatár. Julio csapatkapitány, született vezér. Testvérként nevelték õket a szegénynegyedben, ahol focizni kezdtek. Daniel profi focizásról álmodik, míg Julio a családot próbálja eltartani fekete ügyletekbõl szerzett pénzbõl. Nincs ideje álmodozni. Életük lehetõsége egy játékosfigyelõ személyében bukkan fel, aki felajánlja, hogy a város legjobb csapatának játékosaival edzenek. De tragédia leselkedik rájuk. Ezen a pályán az élet a tét. Daniel’s an exceptional football striker. Julio’s the team’s captain, a born leader. They were raised as brothers and play football in their slum. Daniel dreams to play professional football while Julio feeds the family with dirty money; he has no time to dream. The opportunity of their lives arrives when a football scout invites them to tryout with the city’s best team. But tragedy strikes them. On this pitch, life is on the line.
Marcel RASQUIN
Hajdu Szabolcs 1972-ben született Debrecenben. A Színház- és Filmmûvészeti Egyetem elvégzése után, a 90-es évektõl színészként dolgozott. Két kisfilmjét követõen 2000-ben készítette el Macerás ügyek címmel elsõ játékfilmjét, mely 2003-ban a Magyar Filmszemle Legjobb elsõfilm díját nyerte el.
Marcel Rasquin egy fiatal venezuelai filmkészítõ, aki rajong a filmekért és a történetmesélésért. Kommunikációt tanult Caracasban az Universidad Católica Andrés Bellon, posztgraduális diplomát és mesteri fokozatot szerzett Film és TV szakon Ausztráliában a Victorian College or Arts-on. Az elsõ játékfilmje a Hermano.
Szabolcs Hajdu was born in Debrecen, Hungary in 1972. After he finfished the University of Theatre and Film Art, he worked as an actor since the 90’s. He made two short films and in 2000 he rolled his first feature film, “Macerás ügyek” which won the Best First Film Award in 2003 on the Hungarian Film Week.
Marcel Rasquin is a young Venezuelan filmmaker with an obsession for movies and storytelling. He studied Broadcast Communications in the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas and got both a PostGraduate Diploma and a Masters Degree in Film & TV in the Victorian College of the Arts in Australia. His first feature film is Hermano.
