Emergency Services Food Assistance USO-Metro has a limited supply of food and grocery store gift certificates for military families. The Indian Head USO center features a food pantry. The Fort Belvoir USO Center holds a Farmers Market the first and third Wednesday of each month.

Emergency Services Housing Emergency Housing Eligibility: Service members and their families in extreme financial hardship or families of service members who are undergoing treatment at area military hospitals. Units available for up to 60 days. Free.

Ticket Line USO-Metro has your ticket to metro area cultural, entertainment and sporting events! Most tickets are free of charge. Eligibility: Active duty personnel and their families.

United Through Reading Deployed service member reads a book while being recorded on DVD.
DVD is sent to the child.
Child watches DVD and follows along with the book.
Caregiver captures childâ€™s reaction in a photo or video and sends it to the service member.

Operation USO Care Packages Several times a month, USO-Metro volunteers gather at a Fort Belvoir warehouse to assemble Operation USO Care Packages (OUCP). Seasonal Programs Food Baskets: Register for a free Thanksgiving or Christmas basket.
