Christmas celebration in Chew Magna

2

December

MAGIC and merriment are returning to Chew Magna village this December as the Chew Magna Society and village primary school join forces to host a festive event on Saturday December 2nd, 3pm-7pm. The Christmas Fayre will play host to a seasonal mix of activities and entertainment for all ages, including Christmas shopping, Santa’s grotto, mulled wine, raffle and tombola, hot festive foods, kids’ crafts and competitions, a snow machine as well as a line-up of local choirs and a brass band to charm the crowds. The magic will be set inside the beautiful Old School Rooms and Millennium Hall, spilling down the High Street to the grand turning on of the village Christmas lights. Chew Magna’s shops, traders and pubs will also be hosting special festive events. By popular request, Christmas trees will be on sale! For information and to pre-order, please contact the school on 01275 332409 (pre-ordering is highly recommended). Not to be missed is the “reindeer food” craft stand to add some sparkle to Rudolf’s midnight snack on Christmas Eve. Details: lizeastwood1@hotmail.com
