» ACTIVITIES In 2008, MdM set up an emergency hotline and developed a referral system for a network of doctors known as ‘friends to migrants’. Activities to prevent infectious diseases have also been developed, in conjunction with local organisations helping migrants. In February, an evaluation recommended that the management of the hotline should be transferred to a local partner organisation. MdM’s activities drew to a close at the end of May 2010.
