1966 SHELBY GT350 HERTZ FASTBACK
RARE RED AND GOLD, EQUIPPED WITH PAXTON SUPERCHARGER
Shelby fans take note, because this outstanding GT350H is one of only perhaps 50 finished in rare Candyapple Red with Gold Le Mans and sill striping, and it is superb. Of special note is its rare Paxton supercharger, a $670 option that boosted the Shelby-modified 289 CI K-code engine’s output from 306 to 400 horsepower. Like all laterproduction Hertz Shelbys, this car is also equipped with a 3-speed automatic transmission; both engine and transmission have been rebuilt
and both are original to the car. Completely restored and documented, this rare Hertz Shelby boasts a laserstraight body with a Black interior, Hertz-exclusive chromed 14-inch Magnum 500 wheels with correct Hertz Sports car Club center caps and the 1966 model’s rear quarter windows, functioning rear brake scoops, scooped fiberglass hood, full racing seat belts and wood-rimmed Cobra steering wheel. Additional features include a rare fold down rear seat, dash mounted tach, Caltracs
under-ride traction bars and power front disc brakes.
