MECHANICSVILLE — Mechanicsville resident Scott Rohlwing recently opened Richmond Archery Tag, which he said offers a new way to encourage fitness, group dynamics and strategy, as well as entertainment to parties and team building events. Archery Tag® was developed a couple of years ago by bringing the best of several activities together in a fast paced game, according to Rohwing. It combines the skill set of archery, the speed and endurance of dodgeball and the intensity of paintball into one game. Players use patented, foamtipped arrows to “tag” their opponents. Rohwing said his “skilled and trained staff takes the time to make every event stress free and safe as well.” He also said the staff takes participants through some basics to help them through the learning curve “quickly and easily.”
