RACIAL INJUSTICE VIRTUAL TOWN HALL - RECAP On July 29, MASC hosted a virtual Town hall on Racial Injustice. MASC ADVANCE - RECAP

MASC Advance looked a little different this year. Instead of a three day, two-night training program, the workshop presenter certification process and executive board meeting were condensed into two zoom calls over two days. On August 4, students from all across Maryland virtually attended MASC’s annual workshop presenter certification. New and returning students engaged in meaningful discussion about the duties and responsibilities of workshop presenters, creating effective visuals to understanding that virtual workshops are presented differently than in-person workshops. MASC takes certifying our student workshop presenters very seriously. Thus, students that participated will have to pass a learning check in order to be certified to present at workshops at MASC major conferences. Advance concluded on August 6 with an executive board meeting. The board met virtually to discuss upcoming events, this year’s MASC theme, new legislation and much more.
