Kitchen Safety Guidelines
After yesterday’s accident, I would like to take the time to remind you of some of our safety guidelines while in the kitchen area. Remember, following these particular guidelines can help prevent further accidents of this sort in the future. Do not run at any time. Hold knives carefully, and once done with them put them safely away. Clean up all spills. If an area of the floor is slick, avoid it and make sure other employees know. Do not attempt to carry out too much food at the same time. Do not try to hold utensils while carrying a lot of food, and vice versa. Also, the next time an employee disregards safety guidelines in an attempt to impress his girlfriend, he will be fired. These guidelines apply to all employees, no matter what position they hold.
