MDBC: BREAKING BOUNDARIES AT BD ASIA

MDBC members were treated to an informative presentation on Breaking Boundaries: Out of the Box Perspectives on Building Collaborative Teams by Gijs van Wezel at Big Dutchman (BD) Asia’s new headquarters recently. This gave guests a special look at BD Asia’s regional head office and logistics center for the Asia Pacific region. It is also the largest and most modern center in the entire Big Dutchman family. Five times larger than its predecesor, the facility has a solar panel the size of two football fields installed on the warehouse’s roof to supply renewable energy. Presentation and training rooms also turn the location into a center of excellence for modern lifestock production.

Gijs provided a presentation on Building Collaborative Teams. Having a collaborative team where all departments work as a goal oriented team requires continuous management attention. During this co - learning session, Gijs shared several approaches used for existing teams.

Gijs is a certified FEBI coach and Open Space Technology facilitator. He also provides intermediary services and business consultancy for international and local companies.
