Events In The News: Aquatics Tennis Queen City Futures – From June 14th-16th, Charlotte Tennis Association hosted an 18u novice tennis tournament at Park Road and Jeff Adams. Participants came from all over the state to compete on a perfect summer weekend. The tournament went smoothly as there was no rain and temperatures did not exceed 85 degrees. To view a complete list of the draws, please visit here. Vacation Celebration – Charlotte Tennis Network hosted a midweek tournament at Jeff Adams Tennis Center for players 18 and under. The tournament was able to allow kids a midweek summer activity while they are out of school. To see a complete list of the results, please visit here. Three hundred forty-five (345) swimmers competed in the Queen City Dolphins Long Course Invitational Swim Meet June 21 – 23 at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center. This was an open meet in which any swimmer could compete. Swim meet ran from 4 - 8pm on Friday evening and from 7:00am - 5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. This was the first long course meet for many of the swimmers.
