Happy Halloween

Halloween is on 31 October. Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating attending costume parties, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films. Halloween is a religious celebration. One of the most popular traditional games is the "apple bobbing" which consists of a container filled with water and put some apples in it. People put their heads inside the container and take the most number of apples only with the mouth. Many of the traditions of Halloween became infantil games

that Irish immigrants brought to the United States in the 19th century. After that, the tradition began to spread around the world. "Samhain" means "end of summer", the day was celebrated Samhain on New Year's Eve. At that time, people lit huge bonfires on mountains to repel evil spirits. It was also believed that the souls of the dead visit their former homes to try to find a body where they lived, and were accompanied by witches and spirits. So people aren’t lit no light at home, and dressed as witches or demons so that no soul would inhabit his body
