H B O ch a m b ers are currently u se d to treat traum a injury, c o m ­ p rom ised skin grafts, radiation tis­ su e dam age, therm al burns, air and g a s a n e u r y s m , a n d tr e a tm e n t o f fle s h eatin g d isea ses. T h e treatm ent provided by the H B O cham ber is relatively sim ple; th e p a tie n t i s p la c e d w it h in th e g la s s tu b e, w h e r e th e p r e ssu re is s l o w l y i n c r e a s e d th r e e a t m o s ­ ph eres.
