There will be a separate AGM for the North and South and then a general pre-season meeting held in the summer. 2. A communication strategy is being formed on how to contact AUs with a dedicated person to do so. 3. Aim to improve communication with all clubs. a. Asked for feedback on website and what sections we wanted on it e.g. a coaches corner. 4. Game reports will not be compulsory next year but highly recommended. 5. BUAFL Prime Time – focus on two to three fixtures per week which will be pre-selected and will be covered heavily with assistance in organisation. a. Aims to increase profile, provide better facilities and events such as fireworks. Within four year BUAFL will be/have: 1. The number one brand sport in universities in terms of TV and internet coverage. 2. The biggest attendance at a university final (excepting Oxbridge rugby). 3. Most recognisable brand within AUs. Finance •
£2000 was spent on this year’s championship game; more will be spent next year. • £17,000 in fees expected. • £9000 to be spent on events. • £200 league application fee – footballs included. • £5 per player insurance if required. £6 per player for registration (up from £5 2007-08) extra revenue will be used to raise the profile of the sport.

Possible re-structure to divisions to make more competitive. Will take geography into account but may mean further to travel. Fixtures will be released by June 1st. Challenge trophy – post season competition.

Possibly four teams next year, SE, SW, Central and Northern (or NE, NW). Trail days throughout the season. Announced well in advance. GB Lions student program to be started.
