As usual, Judy is in a mood. After seeing her classmate’s picture on the front page of the newspaper, Judy wants to be famous and sets off to find fame and happiness. All the while, Stink and his foul-smelling sneakers become a real distraction as he vies for the coveted Golden Clothespin Award. Judy Moody and Stink are the perfect pair for their imperfect capers that lead to fun, mystery, sibling rivalry, and, in the end, true friendship.

This is an interactive concert for Elementary school students in which they will literally take part in exploring such scientific concepts as the Earth’s rotation, gravity and telescope viewing to a powerful Copland fanfare and the soaring themes of Star Wars. They will share the adventure with a very special resident of Earth’s satellite, Rocky de Luna, an inquisitive moon rock.

The City of Miramar’s commitment to the Community in the Arts starts with providing an opportunity for Miramar’s four year old children to become global citizens through an initiative called Cultural Start: Passport To The World at MCC. All branches of the arts are incorporated when introducing Culture as part of their curriculum. It is also the vehicle by which any participating 4-year-old in our Pre-K programs can watch global traditions and customs this season from India, Mexico, The Netherlands and Egypt come alive on stage, Where Community and Culture Converge at MCC. MIRAMAR COMMUNITY THEATRE Miramar Cultural Center is thrilled to offer an exciting theatre arts program for 8th through 12th graders who desire a deeper understanding of the theatrical arts. Facilitated by JoMarie Payton (TV Personality, Actress, Singer and Director), students will engage in hands-on-participatory activities involved in putting together a full production. This learning through the arts initiative is designed to encourage creative thinking, break down barriers and build self-confidence while honing their skills both on stage and behindthe-scenes. Participants have the choice of two 10-week sessions that culminate in a full performance showcase.
