During the course, the students are invited to exemplify through a specific project in Santa Coloma de Gramenet reinterpreting th Green Comb develop by the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona. The content of the course include: _GENERATE A TRANSCALE PROPOSAL Based on a territorial and local analysis of the area, it is proposed to recognize those structural elements of the landscape that assume the structure of the landscape and that, from its characterization and description, are the potential elements of the project. _RECOGNIZE THE CAPACITIES OF THE LANDSCAPE Landscape, both territorial and urban, presents intrinsic capabilities that once recognized are the potential of the development of the landscape project, as they give meaning and function to the proposal. The analysis of these capacities is the first project action. _ RECOGNIZE LANDSCAPE AGENTS, CAPABLE OF GENERATING TRANSFORMATION For the project to respond to the needs of the landscape on which it is positioned, it is considered essential to recognize the agents of the landscape (neighbors, associations, local administrations ...) that are potential users and, occasionally, from where comes the energy of transformation of the landscape. _ USE REPRESENTATION AS A MEANS OF COMMUNICATION AND INSTRUMENT OF DECISION MAKING Representation is the language of the landscaper, is the means of communication of the initial intentions as well as the results, but in turn, is the means of analysis and project hypothesis verification, being the decision making instrument. We consider it fundamental during the course that the student exercises and explores his ability of representation. _ REVEAL THE CHARACTER OF THE URBAN LANDSCAPE It is fundamental that the project responds to its own potential character as urban landscape, which establishes a reflection of the needs of the community relating directly or indirectly.
