Dr Katherine Woolf

Lecturer in Medical Education, UCL Medical School My teaching falls into two main areas: professional development, and quantitative and qualitative research methods. I teach small and large groups at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I also supervise research projects, including an Impact PhD studentship joint funded by the Royal College of Physicians and UCL on the predictive validity of MRCP(UK), which is being completed by Ms Kasia Ludka. I believe in making access to higher education as fair as possible. I am on the board of the fair access to medicine project Target Medicine, and teach on the UCL fair access project Horizons.

Senior Lecturer in Medical Education & Director, Academic Centre for Medical Education (ACME) I have a long history as a teacher and teacher educator within the medical school and I am involved in a wide range of faculty development activities that support medical teachers and education supervisors. I am academic lead for the long running TIPS programme. I am academic lead for a wide range of medical education domains including portfolio learning, personal and professional development and the virtual learning project: Case of the Month. I am deputy director of the Division of Medical Education and medical school Sub dean for Curriculum innovation and development. I am currently implemenation lead for the ambitious MBBS 2012 project.
