Illustrations Digital Art
DIGITAL ART The pieces presented are not taken from a particular year. I mostly tried to experiment with color palettes and characters. I also tried to add more details to my drawings whether through a setting or backgrounds, and making light and shade complex.
COMICS There are three comics displayed in this section. The first one (directly below this description) is one I did individually for my Design Project Class. The other two were for my Chemistry and Physics classes. I collaborated with Mariam Mohsen and Tamara Fahs for this project. Character Design: Cole - Maya Alkharaz Andy- Tamara Fahs Storyline: Tamara Fahs and Maya Alkharaz Line art: Maya Alkharaz Coloring: Tamara Fahs and Mariam Mohsen
TRADITIONAL ART I have been using Copic Markers mostly however I have been learning to use watercolors recently. I have been mostly focusing on blending and on avoiding visible strokes.
SKETCHES I use sketches to express emotions, practice my skills, or plan out a concept or a base for an artwork.
CONSTRUCTION DRAWING The first drawing was for my Illustration drawing course, using only graphite and Cartidge Paper. The second drawing was for my Design Foundations course, using ink, acrylic paint, graphite, and Arches paper.
POSTERS The first poster called “One day was for my Design Communication course and we had to represent our day through a poster after recording a particular day of our lives. The second poster on the other page was for Digital Communication course, were we had to make several posters for Dubai. I chose the desert. This illustration is the only illustration in this book that was not done free-handedly.
