2015 was another wonderful year for United Way! Our energetic drive chairs, Dan and Mary Beth Knoeck led us through a very successful campaign while reminding us all how to put the “fun” in fundraising. We are so grateful for your enthusiasm and dedication Dan and Mary Beth! United Way is privileged to have outstanding support from individuals and businesses in the community that we serve. Without your support, none of the important work highlighted in this Annual Report would be possible. I have had the pleasure to witness countless volunteer efforts over the years and continue to be amazed by the selfless giving. We ALL have something to offer; raking leaves, organizing and distributing school supplies or winter coats, Board President, Tammy Meissner (left), packing NOW lunches, tax preparation assistance, or participating in the receives recognition for her presidency allocation process. There is truly something for everyone! from Executive Director, Paula Jero United Way changes lives...mine included. I am humbled and honored to be just a small part of such an important piece in our community. United Way reminds us all that it’s not what we take away from an experience, but what we leave behind. Thank you for your continued support! Let’s continue to empower lives and strengthen families- and above all else- LIVE UNITED.
What a great year it has been. We feel honored and humbled to have had the opportunity to serve as the 2015 Drive Chairs. As we look back at this past year, we have truly gained an appreciation for all that this community does to help our neighbors in need. We have seen firsthand the dedication and selfless work that is done by United Way staff and partner agencies. Each day they work tirelessly assisting people, matching needs with resources, providing support and direction, helping folks get back on their feet. Many of these people simply have no place else to turn. So we want to say Thank you. Thank you for your continued and gracious support again this year. United Way Campaign Drive Chairs,
We’ve all heard the phrase that it takes a community to raise a child. While it’s Dan & Mary Beth Knoeck true that a community effort is critical, you as individuals have all made a difference for your fellow neighbors in need, and without you, the United Way would not be able to do what it does each day. We would also like to give a special thank you to new and returning donors who graciously found it in their hearts to give this year. Thanks also to the many area businesses whose leadership and role model of support helped to make this another successful year. We have seen that Marshfield truly Lives United.
