B. UPJ FRATERNITY PLANS MEMORABILIA AUCTION The Tribune-Democrat (2011) This article showcased how my Fraternity and I organized a Sports Memorabilia Auction to help raise CC funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. C. MR.UPJ CAN ROLL, SING AND DANCE UPJ Advocate (2013) This article showcased the UPJ Mr.UPJ Competition. I finished in 2nd place, with my ability to give a motivational speech to my peers.

joined the Delta Pi Chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity in the Spring of 2010. I knew that I wanted to make an immediate contribution and took the helm as the Zeta Associate Member Class President. It wasn’t long before I was voted in as the President of my chapter. While as President, the Delta Pi Chapter was the recipient of many awards, including the most prestigious award given to a student-run organization on Pitt-Johnstown’s campus; Organization of the Year.
Greatest Moment as President: “The greatest moment that I experienced while President of the Delta Pi Chapter was when our organization received the 2010-2011 Pitt-Johnstown Organization of the Year Award. It was the first time that a Greek organization was named as the award winner, and really showed that we accomplsihed all of our goals we set for ourselves.”

thought I knew which sport I was going to play in college, way before I even enrolled at Pitt-Johnstown. I was a baseball player for 18 years , and wanted to continue playing at UPJ. After a few weeks, I knew that it was going to be hard to accomplish all the extra curricular activities that I wanted to be a part of if I continued playing baseball so I hung up the baseball cleats, and traded them in for lacrosse cleats. While being on the team for 4 years, I held every position on the club’s executive board as well as being named captain during my junior and senior seasons.
Greatest Moment as President: “The greatest moment that I experienced while President of the Pitt-Johnstown Laxcats was when we received a bid for the Conference Tournament. It was the first time we received a bid, and showed that our hard work and dedication on and off the field made us one of the more respectable organizations in the NCLL.”

t all started with an email. I knew the one internship that I wanted to complete in college, even way back in high school. While attending Westmont Hilltop, I sent an email to Under Armour CEO, Kevin Plank, and expressed my interest in joining the Under Armour team while completing my degree. I sent
out applications each year, but to no avail. Before my senior year started, I knew that this was my final shot to land an internship in the Under Armour Summer League Program and I gave it my all. I ended up creating a complete Social Media campaign for the sole purpose of getting hired

at Under Armour. I used various social platforms and after multiple interviews, I received an offer letter that I had wanted for 5 years! The Under Armour Summer League was an amazing experience all around. I got to work with a multi billiondollar brand and it was a tremendous learning experience. My main focus was working with the footwear department and develop a plan on how to enter the social space and start garnering much needed footwear brand awareness. At the end of the summer, I gave a presentation to 35 members of the Under Armour team and saw my recommendations being implemented across the board.

In order for you to graduate from Westmont Hilltop High School, you are required to complete a senior project. Your senior project has to benefit the community, the school district or some other act of service. A lot of my classmates decided to take an easy route and simply collect money at lunch for various charities, organize a fan section for a sporting event or something similar. I chose to go a different route. My senior project idea came from myself being a big supporter of all the athletic teams at Westmont. I created, and designed a clothing line for Westmont students and supporters. What was unqiue about this “Blackout Gear” clothing line was that we always had Blackout Student Sections for the various sporting events, but since our school’s colors were red and grey, we never had anything black that said Westmont on it. I created this senior project with hopes to raise $500 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, as my cousin actually had her wish granted by Make-A-Wish a few years back. I ended up exceding my initial expectations and in turn created the largest senior project in Westmont’s history. I ended up selling over $12,000 worth of clothing to the students at my school of 500 students, and ended up donating 100% of the profits to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. ($3,853) This project involved a lot of marketing and creative skills which led me to declaring as a business marketing student at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Throughout high school I played baseball, basketball and was a member of the golf team. I was a four-year letterwinner on my high school’s baseball team, playing in every varsity game during my career. Baseball was my sport of choice growing up, and I continued to play until I was 21 in the AAABA League in Johnstown. During my last season, I was the only player in the wooden bat league to play all 9 positions on the field.
