The competition was design and create a non-perminant roof system to cover and protect an archeological dig site. Using a space frame system I created an open air structure that allowed for protectiong from the sun and rain as well as highlight the remaining column front and center

Mixed-Use Development

The concept for this project was to create a mixed-use development that would bring life to this area of Hartford. With the idea of transparency I was able to represent the type of occupancy based on the amout of transparnent material

6 The idea for the museum was to select a client and design a museum that would represent them. My design was intended to represent Steven Hawking through the use of the cantelevered galleries on the second floor. The curved galleries were an abstract representation of Hawking’sdiscovery of the black hole.

Sustainable Marine Lab

This competition project involved designing a sustainable marine research facility in the US Virgin Islands. Using a grid concept, I created three separate buildings in a campus style layout just off bays edge. The same grid concept made its way onto the facade of the buildings in the form of a curtain wall.
