Guelb Moghrein Copper Gold Project

to 3.9 Mt/a.

Commissioned Second Upgrade 3rd Quarter, 2009 Mauritanian Cooper Mines SA (First Quantum Minerals Ltd), Mauritania, NW Africa

This involved upgrading the primary grinding, copper flotation, concentrate regrind vertical mills, concentrate storage, flotation thickening and associated infrastructure. The scope also included a second 113 km, water pipeline at 5,500 t/d capacity.

Sedgman provided the detailed engineering, procurement (EP) and commissioning assistance for the development of the 2.0 Mt/a Guelb Moghrein copper/gold project in northwest Africa. The scope included crushing, grinding, flotation, concentrate handling, CIL, tailings disposal, power station, infrastructure and provision of a 7,200 t/day, 113 km water pipeline from Bennechabb. The project was completed in March 2006. In November 2007, the gold flotation and CIL circuit, along with associated infrastructure were upgraded. The scope included the design and construction of additional flotation cells, refurbishment of a 1.1 MW regrind mill and upgrades to the existing CIL, electrical and plant services. In April 2008, the second upgrade commenced to increase plant throughput

Palmarejo Silver Gold Project

Commissioned 2nd Quarter, 2009 Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation – Chihuahua Province, Mexico Sedgman provided the detailed engineering and procurement (EP) services for the 2.0 Mt/a silver/gold flotation/ leach plant and associated infrastructure, planned to produce approximately 430 tonnes of silver and 130,000 ounces of gold per annum. Preliminary engineering commenced in September 2005 with environmental approval and detailed engineering started in June 2006. The project uses novel metallurgical processes including the direct electrowinning of silver/gold metal powder from flotation

concentrate leach solution, as well as a conventional CIL circuit to treat flotation tailings. Phu Bia Gold Project

Commissioned 2nd Quarter, 2005 PanAust Limited, Laos Sedgman provided engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) for construction of a 2.0 Mt/a gold heap leach plant and associated infrastructure at Phu Bia in Laos. Operations commenced at Agnew in August 1997 and were initially contracted for a 3 year term. Sedgman has been supplying crushing and screening services to the Agnew Gold Mine continuously now for more than 12 years. The facility consists of a three-stage crushing plant producing 125,000 tonnes per month of ball mill feed.

Sedgman has a long history of providing services to this project. From the very early stages of the operation construction materials and a primary crushing station for mill feed was provided until the underground crushing station and hoist were completed and commissioned.

Sedgman provides a crushing and screening facility which produces up to 70,000 tonnes per month of stemming and roadbase materials for blast hole fill and haul road surfacing.

In addition, Sedgman has been providing ore haulage services to this operation since July 2001 and is currently contracted to continue this service through to July 2013. In June 2005 BHP Billiton awarded Sedgman a further 4 year contact to supply Run of Mill management services and an ore crushing facility producing 120,000 tonnes per month of SAG mill feed.

The recent worldwide tyre shortages highlighted the need to reduce tyre wear and the production of road base materials from mine waste has significantly reduced these costs for the client. Sedgman was recently awarded a further 18 months contract extension.

Lihir

Papua New Guinea Mid 2008, Sedgman was awarded a one year contract term by Lihir Gold to supply a mobile crushing and screening plant on a fixed hire arrangement processing parcels of ROM ore at its Lihir Island operation in Papua New Guinea. This facility is used to augment SAG mill feed, assisting the client’s own crushing facility as required. McArthur River

Sedgman – A Leading Provider In addition to completing an extensive list of projects, Sedgman continues to execute a large number of feasibility studies. These range from scoping and pre-feasibility studies through to fully bankable feasibility studies incorporating the coordination of input from a wide range of consultants.

Sedgman is a publicly listed Australian company. Our head office is located in Brisbane, Australia, with international offices in Beijing (China), Santiago (Chile) and Johannesburg (South Africa). With over 30 years of accumulated experience, Sedgman has grown from consulting engineer to designer, constructor, owner and operator of coal handling and preparation plants (CHPP), from coal sector to coal and mineral sectors. Since our inception in 1979, we have accrued significant intellectual property resources through our in-house engineers and draftsmen whose expertise is continually enhanced by exposure to Sedgman resource industry operations worldwide, which in turn supports and sustains Sedgman’s commitment to the optimisation of our plant operations. Today, our success and performance is underpinned by one of the largest coal specific engineering work forces in the world and a growing mineral specific engineering work force. The stability, loyalty and continuity of our professional staff has permitted Sedgman to actively involved in many of the major new coal processing facilities, especially coking coal, developed over the past 15 years and to operate plants with an enviable record of

Sedgman’s commitment to the optimisation of our plant operations.

performance and efficiency. Our high level of retained expertise and experience – and the cost efficiency that represents - has firmly established Sedgman as a world leader in services to the coal and mineral processing industry.

We collaborate with clients to tailor cost-effective solutions ranging from conceptual pre-feasibility scoping through to building and operating processing and handling plants, either as fixed facilities, or, as modular low-cost relocatable units.

Formerly, Sedgman’s intellectual property was licensed to companies in USA and China. Under the licences, 32 CHPPs were built in China over 10 years. Those licences were withdrawn in 2006 and from 2008, Sedgman commenced operating through its wholly owned subsidiary, Sedgman Engineering Technology (Beijing) Co. Ltd.

As we hold no proprietary equipment licences, we offer truly independent selection of equipment for our coal handling and preparation plant designs.

Democratic Republic of Congo, Dominican Republic, Finland, Ghana, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Laos, Mauritania, Mexico, Mongolia, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, South Africa, Sweden, Spain, Sudan, Uganda and Zambia. We are proud of our worldwide contribution.

Head Office is in Brisbane with international offices established in Beijing, Santiago and Johannesburg targeting the growth regions of China/Mongolia, South America and southern Africa.

In many cases, our project involvement covers the complete spectrum of project development, including resource evaluation, conceptual and feasibility studies, value adding and risk analysis, followed by detailed design, construction, commissioning and operation. 30 years’ experience of vast projects enables us to identify and recommend most appropriate selection of equipment for our CHPP design.

Sedgman’s role in studies and projects so far extends to many of the world’s major mining regions including Australia, Botswana,

Snow Queen Kazakhstan

In an over-saturated market of extravagantly crafted vodka emerges a fairytale of Snow Queen, the Vodka Masters 2008 Gold winner in the super-premium category. Born in the far-away land of Kazakhstan, her father was the finest organic wheat and her mother the purest water. Soon, Snow Queen became known as the smoothest, most beautiful vodka. Experts came from far and wide to shower her with gold medals and awards. Snow Queen had been distilled five times, giving her a unique, smooth, velvety taste. But, as happens so often in fairy tales, her beauty carried a terrible curse. For whoever put Snow Queen to their lips was condemned to fall in love with her for the rest of their life.

Chopin Poland

Chopin is a single-ingredient vodka, four times distilled from organic potatoes grown in the Polish region of Podlasie. The manufacturer claims it is the only luxury potato in the world! Named after Polish Romantic composer Frederic Chopin, this rich and creamy vodka is made in small batches under rigorous quality control. The manufacturer claims that if a taste sampling shows even a small hint of imbalance, the whole batch is destroyed.
