High School: An all-state and all-city performer out of Southwood High School, Houston helped lead her Lady Cowboy teams to two state championships (sophomore and junior) and a state runner-up finish (senior)... as a senior, she was named the team's most valuable player to go along with her all-state and all-city honors as well as a spot on the state's all-star team... graduating with honors with a 3.5 gpa, she was her class treasurer and a member of the Student Government.
