LeDell LOVE

Duties: The longest-tenured football operations administrator in the Southland Conference, Dan Korn enters his 11th season with the Demons as Director of Football Operations. Korn’s primary role is to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the football program in the areas of budgetary management, team travel, fundraising projects, pre-season training camp, practice planning, and game day organization, as well as serving as Head Coach Jay Thomas’ liaison to all athletic department support units that assist the football team. His broad range of responsibilities include assisting with the planning of team events and other football program projects. In his role, Korn works closely with university faculty and staff and the athletic department’s facilities, marketing, media relations and development offices. He also serves as the liaison to NFL scouts and player personnel as well as player agents. Korn plays a key role in managing the overall recruiting process as well with the planning and execution of official and unofficial visits, recruiting budget oversight, development of marketing messages, strategic planning, organization and evaluation of the recruiting video database, and ensuring that the recruiting and evaluation plan stays on track. He is charged with monitoring staff efforts and providing direction and consistency throughout the recruiting process while keeping the staff abreast of the latest trends in recruiting. Football Experience: In 10 seasons with Korn on staff under the guidance of Head Coaches Steve Roberts, Scott Stoker and Bradley Dale Peveto, the Demons have posted an overall 54-49 (.524) mark highlighted by an overtime victory (27-24) at bowl-bound TCU in 2001; captured a Southland Conference Championship title (2004); made three NCAA Football Championship (FCS)/Division I-AA post-season playoff appearances (2011, 2002, 2004); the program ranked as high as No. 11 nationally (2001-2004), while climbing to No. 3 in the Nation in 2002; four separate teams cracked the FCS Top 10 at some point of the season during the 2001-2004 campaigns; teams broke or tied four NCAA Division I-AA records, 10 Southland Conference records and 35 school records, including the single-season and single-game scoring records and seven defensive records (2001-2007); the 2004 Southland Conference championship team broke 13 school offensive records, including season records for total offense (4,905 yards), first downs (241), rushing yards (2,981), rushing touchdowns (34) and total touchdowns (53); posted four straight games with 40 or more points, an all-time school best. He also assisted in the development of 11 All-American selections and five NFL Draft picks (Craig Nall, Terrence McGee, David Pittman, Demetress Bell and Jeremy Lane). Coaching Experience: Second Season Playing Experience: A four-year letterman and three-year starter who was an All-Southland Conference selection in 2008 and in his senior season of 2010, Love made 138 career tackles. In 2010, he recorded 59 tackles, including 37 solo, 6 for loss (-11), 1 sack (-5), while recording 12 QB hurries, 4 pass breakups, and forcing two fumbles as a senior defensive end for the Demons. Love was named the Joe Delaney Leadership Award Winner as Permanent Defensive Team Captain by his teammates after his senior year. He had 50 stops including 11 tackles for loss as a sophomore, memorably batting down a fourth-down pass to end a decisive fourth-quarter goalline stand in a win over Grambling. He was second-team All-Louisiana in 2008, and honorable mention in 2010. At Skyline HS in Dallas, Love was a first-team all-district selection who had 82 tackles, 7 forced fumbles and a touchdown as a senior, and 55 tackles and 2 forced fumbles and 2 sacks as a junior. He was also a Dean’s List student in high school. Personal: Born Nov. 8, 1988. A New Orleans native, he is the son of Lee and Carol Love with a brother, Lee Jr., and a sister, LeaAnn. His full name is Ledell Anthony Love. He graduated in business administration in December 2010. He enjoys watching and playing sports, and plans on being a college coach. He is pursuing a sport administration master’s degree at NSU.

EQUIPMENT MANAGER

Missouri Valley, 2008 3rd Season at NSU

Coaching Experience: Starting his third season as the equipment manager for NSU. During the 2010-11 school year, he supervised 10 student managers while assisting with the University of Houston’s athletic equipment room. The previous year, he supervised eight student managers and assisted with operations in the Louisiana Tech football equipment room. During his 2008-09 stint at the University of Nevada, Noah handled Nevada’s inventory, upkeep and ordering of equipment for football, softball, track and field, and swimming while assisting with implantation of new technology for inventory. He also supervised five student managers and took part in the 2008 Humanitarian Bowl with the Wolf Pack. College: Spent four years as the head student equipment manager at Missouri Valley while volunteering for the 2007 and 2008 NAIA Football Senior Classic. During his time at Missouri Valley,
