KAMPALA TO EXPERIENCE PAFA 2017 THIS WEEKEND

he first edition of the newly introduced Pearl of Africa Fashion Awards will be happening this weekend at Sky Beach in Entebbe. The awards that will be recognizing individuals in the fields of fashion are on this Saturday December 2, 2017 and are to be hosted Yummy: Different kinds of meat were available.

The Nigerian star is slated to perform in Kampala next Thursday December 7, at a Face TV gig BY GRACE AMME

fter becoming the first African artiste to headline a completely sold out show at London’s Royal Albert Hall, one can be justified to say that Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, is officially Africa’s ambassador of the afro-beat genre. Star Times and Face TV are making it up to Wizkid’s fans by bringing back the superstar to perform at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on December 7th. This will be the singer’s second performance in Uganda after the energetic act he put up during the All Black V.I.P party at Golf Course Hotel in 2014. He will jet into the country on December 5, a few days after his band that arrives seven days to the show. Here are some facts that you may not have known about this Nigerian super star coming to perform in your country; Childhood Now 27 years old and father of one, Wizkid was born in 1990 in Lagos-Nigeria to a Christian (Pentecostal) mum and Moslem dad. The singer has 12 siblings who are all female. He started singing in church when he was only 11 years under the stage name Lil Prinz, which he carried on until 2006 when he switched to secular music. In 2011, Wizkid dropped out of Leads University where he was studying International relations to pursue his music career. Though he promised

Tyga],Ojuelegba, Daddy Yo, Come Closer (feat. Drake), Love my Baby, Caro, Naughty Ride (feat. Major Lazer) and Scatter the Floor, just to mention. He has also had international collaborations with artites like Drake and Kyla (One Dance), DJ Henry (Like This), Chris Brown, Trey Songs, French Montana, Hoody Baby and Section Boys (Shabba), TinnieTempah (Mamacita) and Akon. Rumour also has it that Wizkid is also working on a project with Beyonce.
