Hello, this is our region, the Champagne Ardenne

...And this is our city, Reims.

Let's present the city of Reims, which is not far from Tinqueux! This picture represents the smiling angel of Reims =)

A beautiful city 

In the background, we can see the Cathedrale. In the foreground, we can see the tram system. Reims is a flowered city.

This is Reims Cathedrale ! In English, this is Rheims cathedrale !

Recently (in 2011), it was the 800th birthday of the cathedrale. The Cathedrale was illuminated. It was beautiful.

In the past, 33 Kings got crowned in Reims.

There is another angel in Reims, place d'Erlon (Erlon Square) where shops and restaurants are. (downtown)

Every December, there is the Christmas market, Place d'Erlon.

Shopping 

This is the Vesle street (not far from Place d'Erlon). Everybody does shopping here. (examples of shops : Jennyfer, Fnac, Lafayette Galeries...)

The tram, our new public means of transport since 2011.

Our stadium !

(aka Auguste Delaune stadium)

The symbol of our stadium !

A match in the stadium. 

Our team has been in 'ligue 1' (this is the top division of the French football league system) since 2012. We often go and see matches. We support our team. There can be up to 22 000 spectactors in the stadium.

The speciality of the Champagne Ardenne is the Champagne.

To drink with moderation !

The vinyard

We live in the Champagne area so there are many champagne houses in Reims : Roederer, Pommery, Taittinger, Mumm, Cazanove, veuve Cliquot, Ruinart ...

And the biggest house of Champagne, Pommery

Pommery 

Pommery is the best Champagne in France Pommery cellars are in Reims, Pommery bvd.

The Pink Biscuits 

The pink biscuit is our regional food.

Fossier company makes it.

The pink biscuit is generally eaten with a glass of champagne, of course !

Now, there are some other monuments in Reims.
