TURNING POINT Isa 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. The prime strategy of the wicked one is to cast aspersions on God by working assiduously to negate his declared terms of the covenant and seek, by so doing, to bring despondency to the hearts of the people of God but though every man may be a liar our God is always true! Joh 16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. ‘The darkest hour is before morning’ may be a cliché but it is a tested one. God has a vested interest in our wellbeing and with His trademark master stroke will make Himself a name by turning our stereotype status around and cause the jaws of the adversaries to drop and our hearts to explode with joy— thereby making for Himself a name ( Isa 63:12-14 ) FINAL WORD: Luk 21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

HYMN STAND UP STAND UP FOR JESUS 1. Stand up, stand up for Jesus, ye soldiers of the cross; lift high his royal banner, it must not suffer loss. From victory unto victory his army shall he lead, till every foe is vanquished, and Christ is Lord indeed.

2. Stand up, stand up for Jesus, the trumpet call obey; forth to the mighty conflict, in this his glorious day. Ye that are brave now serve him against unnumbered foes; let courage rise with danger, and strength to strength oppose.

3. Stand up, stand up for Jesus, stand in his strength alone; the arm of flesh will fail you, ye dare not trust your own. Put on the gospel armor, each piece put on with prayer; where duty calls or danger, be never wanting there. 4. Stand up, stand up for Jesus, the strife will not be long; this day the noise of battle, the next the victor's song. To those who vanquish evil a crown of life shall be; they with the King of Glory shall reign eternally.
