The building is filled with five millennial families with high space requirements.

Applicable regulations only allow buildings with a height of 4 floors, so that the height of the building is lowered.

Five buildings are connected by an interlock system, so the building area can fit inside the site.

The outer space created is functioned as a social space and collaboration of tenants, such as eating together, gardening and children playing area.

Due to limited space, corridors and rooftop buildings are used as children's playing space, which can still be monitored from inside the building.

This studio apartment located in the center of jakarta and has only 22m2 nett area.

The main concept to make it feel spacious is to create bed stage which also potentially functionate as storage.

We as the designer and the owner itself agree to use japandi style as reference to create the cozy ambience. We combine oak wood texture to create raw look and white color to balance it.
