Gotta get that Gucci!
Seems like this season our MASTIES have chosen to look at life in style! Here we see Gabriel Allen sporting glasses similar to those seen in the Gucci Spring 2016 collection. With a thick frame and stripes on the side, who could resist!
Women’s History Month
Grace Hopper
Grace Hopper was born on December 9, 1906 and passed away on January 1, 1992. She was a computer scientist, mathematician, and served in the United States Navy as a rear admiral. The Navy originally denied her from joining but later saw the value of her knowledge and hired her. She earned a Ph.D. in mathematics from Yale University and worked as a professor in the subject at Vassar College. Her work greatly contributed to the war effort in WWII and computer programming today.
Sally Ride
Sally Ride was born on May 26, 1951 and passed away on July 23, 2012. She became a member of NASA in 1978 and was the first American woman to visit space.
