DIAL BEFORE YOU DIG
SAFETY FIRST WHEN EXCAVATING
Dial Before You Dig can play an essential part in a plumber’s daily work pratices. Before excavating, the free national service needs to be used by plumbers to prevent damage and disruption to underground pipes and cables. Enquiries have always been easy to lodge at www.1100.com.au. Now, with the availability of the DBYD Next Gen referral service, there has been further improvement in ease of use and functionality. It is important to remember that safe excavation is not just about lodging an enquiry and getting the plans; it is recommended as best practice to follow the 5Ps of Safe Excavation to minimise the risk of damage, injury or potential loss of life.
