WREATEN ON

WrEATen on is a project that defines the creation of a placemat with the double function of calendar. The placemat is a group of four sets of A3 sheets. They rappresent the seasons and every sheet is a day of the week. Every set is a different color and there are drawn on some fruits, depending on the period of the year. You can hang it at the wall and write on it some appoinments and notes, because there are written all the times of the day and there is a special space that may be ripped away. Moreover the sheets are with squares placed at 45 degrees, thus it is easy to write on when it is hanging or it is easy to read when it is on the table. This product is designed for using it only one time, during the breakfast, to remember, in the meantime, the events of the day and perhaps to note down the shopping list.

GROW UP

Grow up is a divisor made out of Birch Plywood. It has been created to be used like divider in common room shared between younger people or brothers and sisters. The mechanism defines some components that move upwards through rotoidal joints. In this way it is possible to decide how much upwards the divisor should arrive and lock in the right position through a solid wood peg. This product is modular, but to guarantee the stability must be putted together at least three of these parts. They are easy to transport, when they don´t stuck together, because of their low weight.

GIPSY

GIPSY is a project born from a need in a night refuge for homeless. The goal was to design lighting suitable for the bedroom area, it should have been versatile and hidden and it should have created a sense of independence. The solution involves the insertion of a LED inside a rubber tube, which in turn is inside a transparent sphere, separated into two half spheres. To create an effect of light has been placed a colored ribbon nuanced from side to side, which enters inside the sphere and can be slid to have a greater or lesser intensity of light.

PLAYCASE

Playcase is the result of three days of work during a workshop. It is a project designed to prevent the personal alienation in the moments in which you are among the people. We designed a cover for mobile phones that have incorporated a mini game table with pieces inserted inside that gives the opportunity to play with someone to three different types of game.

This project is a commercial stand for the company Caran d'Ache. In this exhibit design product we defin an entire space, giving more importance to the cheapest pens, in relation to our concept "The elegance affordable for everyone." They are, in fact, placed in the center of the stand suspended in showcases, unlike the medium-expensive that are in two caskets which are at the sides and defined with a growing octagonal shape and of high-expensive placed in the only one closed side and included in a wall. There are also spaces where you can try the pens in total privacy thanks to fiber optic curtains that protect you from prying eyes or just from people who enter in the stand.

DOUBLE FACE

Double face is a product created in close contact with Latvian furnishing company Mint. In this company is totally lacking a type of furniture suitable for children so I wanted to focus on toys made with wood, how it was once. The project includes two toys already assembled and uncolored which have the shape of a bear and of a duck. Because of the formal proportions the two animals can be painted by children in two different ways. In a face can be created a bear and a panda and the same for the duck that can also become a goose. In addition each part of the body of animals is simple to rotate through special joints. It is a product designed for learning and awareness of 3-4 years old children at time of fun.

SUERTE

Suerte is a project that I conceived during my Erasmus programme in Riga. It is a graphic design project and adaptation of the graphic on three already defined packagings. The brief was to give an image of the coffee to explain the place in which it is coltivated, PerĂš, so in this case I used the symbol of luck, Timu, that in PerĂš is present in every house. They packagings were: Ground coffee, Wholebeans coffee e Espresso coffe, everyone with different shapes.

DI CASA

Di Casa, "The perfect taste of home", is a packaging project that provides an innovation within the package of pasta and I designed it during my Erasmus in Riga. The main feature of this product is to have, in its interior, a partition that elapses every 100 grams of pasta, so as to always have a precise idea of how much pasta you are using. To avoid, wanting to use only a certain portion, that the rest of pasta risks to being versed, I created a particular joint between the cover and the main box in which there is a kind of track that does not allow to the cover to be completely opened, but only to slide over the main box.

GIUINOTT

Giuinott is a gianduiotto, a special chocolate candy, created by Guido Castagna through the Natural Metod Guido Castagna that sees the process of the chocolate in laboratory starting from the roasting of the beans. In this workshop we created an informative flyer, with gadget included, in which they are shortly explained the principal phasis of the process of cocoa. It has been thought to be offered at EXPO 2015 event in Milan and, when closed, it takes its shape from the gianduiotto and has inside it the chocolate.

AL²

Al2 is a project born from the request to create a multifunctional domestic ladder. We designed a ladder where it is possible to sit down and when it is not used in this way it can become a living room table. It is made in smooth and hammered anodized aluminum and every mechanism is thought to be easy and safe for the costumers. It is perfect for small spaces. We have made also a virtual presentation about structure and usage of the project.

AL2, the ladder that becomes a table. Flexible and totally sustainable. Made of aluminum and steel, it weighs 8 kg and in few moves can be transformed from a ladder to a table, where the polished aluminum is approached to the hammered aluminum. AL2 is the ladder that should never more be hidden.


ART SPACE

The project for Riga Art Space is the only graphic project I made and I did it in Riga, during my Erasmus. The brief asked a restyling of the corporate image of an exhibit space of modern art and the products requested were flyers, descriptions of different expositive rooms and tickets.

ISOGRIDBIKE

Isogridbike is a a bicycle frame made from 5 carbon threads. A technology from the aerospace industry and as light weight. Absolutely adjusted to the driver. A rejection of the diamond frame and a collaboration between the companies Circomp and Paul Martin. I collaborated in this project as a intern in Paul Martin studio.

The following projects are based on the work I have done at Patzak Design studio as freelancer. I cannot show projects that are not already published thatâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s why I have worked on some new objects to show my skills and what was my role. In every design there is 3D modelling, texturizing, lighting, rendering and post editing, everything what is around a project. All of them are taken from existing brands, J´adore, Garnier, Daisy, Shu uemura, exception made for the last one, that is my concept. Some renders represent key visualizations and some other material and color versions.
