I. Video Production My skills include the following: -

Create theme/storyline Select locations and interviewees Choose and work with video production crew on site Schedule and conduct all interviews (on and off camera) Review footage Write scripts and edit video (can do basic video editing myself, but for this project I sat alongside the video editor and we worked together)

III. Feature Story Sample (from The Tribune, San Luis Obispo, formerly the Telegram-Tribune) I interviewed an inmate inside the California Men’s Colony federal prison, and I also visited and interviewed inmates taking art classes there.

IV. Internal Newsletters Sample 1: CUMC Celebrates http://ps.columbia.edu/celebrates/ I prepared the content for this monthly newsletter, acting as a managing, and I wrote the introductory message from the dean. (Click image to access an issue.)

Sample 2: High-Tech Company Newsletters For two years, I wrote bi-weekly internal newsletters for IDT and VeriSign. This is an example of an article in the IDT newsletter, which needed to be understood by all audiences.

V. Website Feature Stories Example 1: Match Day 2012, P&S I produced, wrote and edited the video (some footage shot by me, some by a videographer) and wrote the accompanying story.
