of their operations and programs. The study was conducted by the Department of Business & Economic Development (DBED) utilizing Maryland Cultural Data Project data supplied by the grant recipients. The study does not take into account the economic impact of for-profit arts organizations and the activities of individual visual, performing and literary artists.Â
