Baton Rouge’s Bumble Lane Spa Retreat hosted its third annual Spa for the Cure extravaganza in October. Bumble Lane’s staff members generously donated their time for the evening and proceeds benefited Mary Bird Perkins. Rubicon L.L.C. held its 12th golf tournament at the Country Club of Louisiana for Mary Bird Perkins, raising $45,000 for the fight against cancer.

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, students and teachers at St. Peter Catholic School in Covington donating to the cause got to wear jeans to school on Denim Day and raised more than $1,700 to help fight breast cancer.
