Dear FAmily,

It is an honor to present the Friends of Foundation Academies 2021-2022 Annual Report, which celebrates our shared impact.

The Friends of FA are celebrating its 12th year of supporting the work of FA and YOU helped make the 2021-2022 school year the best yet.

After the extreme challenges of the past two years, we have come back even stronger. Through it all, we have remained dedicated to funding efforts that enrich our student experiences, develop and celebrate our faculty and staff, and support our alumni.

Over the past 12 years together, we have contributed nearly $2.7 million in support of our scholars.

At FA, we see our children and their value, and we foster an environment that equips and empowers them with the tools and confidence to succeed. As you will read in the following pages, this past year, we:

▪ Created and enriched opportunities for learning for all of our students, grades K-12 ▪ Trained, developed, and showed appreciation for our dedicated and skilled staff ▪ Awarded our second class of Round Table scholarships to four remarkable students ▪ Honored and bid farewell to longtime CEO and champion of FA, Graig Weiss ▪ Began an exciting next chapter by welcoming incoming CEO, Sheria McRae, and a newly-formed Executive Team FA remains the highest-performing school in Trenton, NJ and in the top 8% of all NJ public schools. FA serves nearly 10% of Trenton’s student population. FA is ready to serve more students and families. We are committed to our city and believe that every child, not just the 500 children on our waiting lists, deserves a K-12 education that equips and empowers them to lead purpose-filled lives. Your continued support will help us to bridge the funding gap between FA and our district counterparts, support hundreds of alumni on their postsecondary paths and prepare us for our first phase of expansion in 2023-2024. Thank you for your ongoing belief in the power of your impact and the potential of our students.

In community,
