First Aid SkyCool is not considered dangerous to human or animal health. As with most water-based acrylic paint substances, the following procedures are recommended: Swallowed:

Rinse mouth and throat with water immediately. Dilute stomach contents with water or milk. Do not induce vomiting. Seek immediate medical advice.

Eye Contact:

Hold eyes open and immediately fold eyes with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation continues, seek immediate medical advice.

Skin Contact:

Wash contact area immediately and very thoroughly with copious amounts of water and soap if available. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. If irritation is present and persists seek medical advice.

Inhaled:

Remove the individual into fresh air, permit them to lay down and rest. If the individual is not breathing, clear the airway and apply resuscitation. Oxygen may be given, but only under the supervision of a qualified person. Keep the individual warm and seek immediate medical advice.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE SkyCool is not considered dangerous to apply; whether by brush, roller or airless spray equipment. It is intended for use in external environments, thereby, normally well ventilated. To avoid inhaling atomised material, do not use in confined non-ventilated areas unless full protective clothing is worn including breathing apparatus. Exposure Standards:

Good ventilation when apply with airless spray equipment to avoid inhaling atomised spray.

Equipment Cleanup:

All equipment should be cleaned thoroughly with water immediately after use. Cleansing run-off should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. No material or contaminated cleansing water should be permitted to enter drainage systems.

Personal Protection Personal Protection:

Specialised personal protection is generally not required; nevertheless, it is recommended that safety glasses/goggles, gloves, safety boots and overalls be worn. SkyCool exhibits a low wind-drift factor due to its high solids content. Nevertheless it should not be spray-applied in strong winds conditions. SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION

Storage:

SkyCool is shipped in one cubic metre reinforced liquid containers, or in 200lt containers accessible through a pump-out opening on the top. Approximate weight of full container – 1.3 tonnes for cubic metre container and 280kg for 200lt containers; therefore, heavy lifting equipment must be employed. When not in use, the container should remain tightly sealed and stored away from direct sunlight. Temperature range for storage – 5°C to 50°C

Transport:

SkyCool is not considered dangerous or hazardous for transportation by road, rail, sea or air. Spillage & Disposal

Spillage/Leakage:

Absorb spillages with an inert material (e.g. sand) and dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Any residue should be rinsed immediately (prior to drying) with copious amounts of water with the resultant run-off being absorbed by an inert material. SkyCool must not be permitted to enter drainage systems. Fire/Explosion Hazard

Flammability/Explosion: SkyCool is not flammable and will not form an explosive mixture.
