Marmax are proud to be part of reducing plastic waste in the ocean, which is becoming a huge problem. The average person drinks approximately 144 pints of milk per year and each milk container can be recycled, but unfortunately ends up being dumped in either landfill sites or in our ocean, which harms sea life. Each milk container takes approximately 450 years to decompose, but then it does not disappear altogether. It is breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces, called microplastics, which is potentially more harmful than the full product as sea life end up eating the microplastics. This can then have a drastic impact to us as we will then end up on our plates. By manufacturing our maintenance free outdoor products, we are helping to save the planet, the sea life and our oceans while providing customers with robust, award winning products that people can appreciate for generations to come.
