Grabbed a quick word with Fred Sessler before he left the island to book some acts for his monthly series that starts on January 28 on nis private 100 acre property with Loo Rawls. Having Imed-up Michael - Jackson, Rolling Stones and Donna Summer for. his Super promotion in May Fred will be going for equally big names for his monthly series. He is expectd back on January 2, when no doubt he will reveal some of the names he has sewn up for his series.

Miss Soul Shack The fourth crowning of Miss Soul Shack will take place on Sunday December 25, at Curphey Place. As m former years the winner will emerge from ladies in attendance on that night that can best answer a simple question about the disco. There will also be an awards section, which this year will feature the dance promoters of yesteryear.
Splash Album The first live album from Sunsplash '83 has been released by Tuff Gong. The album which was mixed at Tuff Gong and produced by Synergy features Third World, Gregory Isaacs, Sugar Minott Michigan and Smiley and American Gil Scott-Heron. This album marks the first in a series from the rnusical festival that will be released by Tuff Gong.
Miss Fort Clarence The Miss Fort Clarence contest reportedly went off with a bang last Sunday as the fourteen finalists all paraded pleasantly before the large crowd.
